Mill Creek Master Bath
It was time to bring this wallpapered and carpeted bathroom in this 1992 home into the 21st Century! Hampered by corner windows, an oversized tube, and a 9-foot long vanity we had our work cut out for us in this L-shaped room.
We installed a freestanding contemporary tub and expanded the frameless shower in length to accommodate for a seat. Since we couldn’t increase the width, we were able to create a seamless walk-in, frameless shower which gives the space a very open and spacious feel. The vanity was made to look like a free-standing piece of furniture by pulling it off the far wall and creating a minimal bump out in the center, which helped break up the 9’ length. The room now feels like it will stand the test of time, by keeping a neutral and sophisticated pallette of finishes.
